World Confederation of Warriers (The Confederation) is a new body established in 2009 by a group of members of the Warrier Community, in association with few other Warrier organizations already in existence in India, with a common objective of creating a united large body which could take up major projects like educational institutions, Hospitals, Children / Old age humans etc, which could be of benefit to not only to the community members, but even to the General public in the area where the establishments are set up. The organization is already registered at Mumbai, under the Societies Act 1860. It is also being registered as a Public Trust for undertaking Charitable Activities.
The Confederation commenced its membership drive at a function held at Divyodaya Hall, Coimbatore on 21st February 2010. Padmashree P. R. Krishnakumar, Managing Director, The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, (Coimbatore) Ltd, inaugurated the membership drive by enrolling himself as the First Life Member of the Confederation by handing over his membership application to the President of the Confederation Shri. T. V. Ramchandran who accepted it gracefully & presented a memento to Shri Krishnakumar on behalf of the confederation. Others who participated in the function included Mr. SVG Warrier, President & other office bearers of the Warrier Samajam, Bangalore, Mr. K Appu Warrier, President, Warrier Samajam, Coimbatore & many other distinguished guests from Coimbatore, Kerala & other places. Spontaneously, many from the audience also became members on the first day itself. Shri. Suresh Warrier, Secretary of the Confederation welcomed the gathering and srip K.Appu warrier,Treasurer, expressed the vote of thanks. The function was hosted by the Warrier Samajam, Coimbatore unit.
